Yesterday I showed you how to re-purpose old vases to use as a centerpiece at a baby shower. Since I had so much fun
decorating for my sister’s shower, I wanted to share a few more beautiful, yet inexpensive baby shower decorating ideas. A banner, tulle pom poms, and even a pretty wreath only take minutes to make, yet pull the look of party together.
To make a Celebrate Banner, you will need:
-Scrapbooks and white computer paper
-3-D flower stickers
-Glue stick
-Scissors
-Black marker
-Long piece of ribbon
-Hot glue gun and hot glue
Instructions:
1. Start by gathering coordinating papers and flowers for the banner.

2. Using the marker, write the letters to spell whatever you want your banner to say. I wanted my banner to say “Celebrate” but you could write the baby’s name or anything else that is fitting for the occasion.
Cut the paper into to the shape you want your banner to be. Use a glue stick to attach the letters to the pretty cardstock. Then hot glue the letters on a long piece of ribbon. Have fun embellishing the banner with flower stickers.

3. The banner is now ready to be hung.

If you look closely, you’ll see I hung tulle pom poms on each end of the banner for added flair. These can easily be made with a Bowdabra.
For the Tulle Pom Poms, you’ll need:
-Tulle
-Scissors
1. Fold 24 inches of Bowdabra wire in half and then place it in the Bowdabra. Cut long strips of tulle about a foot in width. Fold each strip to find the center then insert the center of the tulle in the Bowdabra.

2. Use the Bowdabra wand to scrunch the center of the pom pom. Trim the ends of your tulle, so it is even. Tie your Bowdabra wire in a knot around your tulle.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the pom pom is as full as needed. The more strips you add, the fuller the pom pom will be. When finished, knot off the Bowdabra wire and fluff the pom pom. The excess Bowdabra Wire to hang the Pom Poms.

There are many ways to decorate with these tulle pom poms. I had tulle left over so I made a pretty baby shower wreath with some extra pom poms I made.
For a Tulle Baby Shower wreath, you’ll need:
-Wire wreath base
-Lots of tulle
-Scissors
-Hot glue gun and hot glue
1. Wrapped tulle around a wire wreath base. Secure the tulle to the back with a dab of hot glue.

The wreath is now ready to be hung on the front door to greet party guests.
I hope these ideas have inspired you to put on your thinking caps. With a little creativity, it is easy to host a baby shower party on a dime.
