Thanksgiving Decor: Fun Fall Wreath

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year to decorate. This year I’ve made quite a few fun Fall wreath ideas. If you click over to the Halloween Pumpkin Hair Bow Home Decor Wreath you will see how I cut the pumpkin in this project in half. It is easy to do! This wreath took under 30 minutes to make.

Materials:

Instructions:

1. Cut 24″ of Bowdabra Bow Wire and fold it and place it into the Bowdabra.

2.  Take the two 4″ 5/8 inch seasonal Satin Ribbon and add them to the Bowdabra so there is equal amount on each side.

3.  Add some raffia to the Bowdabra and then add the 12″ 3/8 inch Grosgrain Ribbon creating a bow tail.  Dovetail the ends: fold the ribbon in half lengthwise. Position your scissors at the folded edge of the ribbon and cut the end at a 45°degree angle.

4. Decide how big you want your loops. To make your first loop, fold the ribbon and press into the Bowdabra. Continue folding ribbon back and forth into the Bowdabra until you are left with the other side bow tail. Add more raffia on top.

6. Continue folding ribbon back and forth into the Bowdabra until you are left with the other side bow tail.  Twist the ribbon to keep the pattern facing forward. Add more raffia on top.

7.  Scrunch ribbon down with the Bowdabra Wand. While the bow is still in the Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire through the loop at the other end. Pull the Bowdabra Bow Wire tightly while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Gently pull the bow out of the Bowdabra. Separate the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire and bring them around to the back of the bow and tie it off. Don’t trim the Bowdabra Bow Wire. Use the extra to secure to the wreath.
