My name is Shannon, and I’m one of the lucky new design team members for Bowdabra. Ever since I was a child, I’ve loved crafting of any kind. During college, I was a retail major, but upon graduation, I really wanted to do something creative. For several years, I sold handmade crafts including florals, painted home decor, and crochet items to craft stores, boutiques, and friends. For a brief time, I owned a store selling mostly hand crafted items made by myself and other crafters.
I no longer have the store, but still enjoy sharing my ideas and talents with others on the Bowdabra blog and my own blog Cozy Home Scenes. My specialties for Bowdabra include home decor and accessories for pets, with special emphasis on extra small dogs.
You may see my two dachshunds modeling my pet projects, but my main model is my four pound long hair chihuahua Holly. Holly enjoys playing with her favorite stuffed monkey, begging for food at the kitchen table, and being the alpha to her much larger, older furry sisters.
Besides crafting, I enjoy blogging, cooking, home decor, reading, and antique shopping.
